So I've been doing a litte research on grafting corals, and the difference between grafting and fusing different types of corals , I'm gonna start with the easiest and try a few different montipora, I'll be using red cap, seasons greetings, mystic sunset, sunset , reverse superman. I'll start by fragging them, then gluing the pieces next to each other on frag plugs. I'll put similar looking montis on the same plugs and try and get some unique mixes. I'm expecting fusion because montis are typically not aggressive and will coexist pretty well, grafting on the other hand is more difficult to accomplish. True grafting happens when the different corals blend and swirl there colors together, not just grow side by side. What are your experiences with grafted or fused corals and has anyone else done any experiments themselves, let see some pictures of what you got ! I'll post pics as I get mine going and post progress pics also!

These are 2 I have but did not graft myself. I think the fender bender is actually a wild graft.
Hell yeah! I like the color combo
Nice! I love the look of grafted corals and I want to try and create my own as well! This Pic is of my first attempt with a sunburst and a flower pedal monti cap. They looked really bad for a while and as you can see some of the tissue on the sunburst died but now their colors are back and they are growing. No sign of grafting yet, but at least they survived.
